Non-touch Antiviral Touch Panel
As an effective infection prevention measure for touch panels in public use, non-contact operation has been gaining attention.
To meet such needs, Hosiden has developed a “Non-touch Antiviral Touch Panel” that allows close proximity operation but without touching the screen, while at the same time touch operation is also available.
To complete all the basic operations in a space close to the screen, the panel incorporates a high-precision touch screen that uses an infrared technique. This allows selection and operation of the buttons without touching them, and in a stress-free manner. Of course, the touch panel can be directly touched for operation too, thus it is a hybrid type allowing simultaneous contact and non-contact operation. The panel surface has been processed with an antiviral treatment (Antiviral standard: SIAA certified), and is expected to find use in almost all applications requiring non-contact operation like washrooms, elevators, ATMs, and any office automation equipment.
