Compact Slim-type Beamforming Microphone Module
Hosiden has developed “Compact slim-type beamforming microphone module” for vehicle applications.
It is ideally suited for applications requiring a slender space-saving design such as installations surrounding vehicle dashboard displays. Adoption of a MEMS microphone has permitted a slim profile that ECM (Electret Capacitor Microphone) units cannot match. As it is equipped with a directivity switch driven by an electronic logic control, sound collection along the directivity axis can be switched 180 degrees, facing the opposite two directions.
