Non-contact Communication Module Kit Supporting Ethernet
Hosiden has developed a communication module kit in response to the demand for non-contact communication of Ethernet signals for in-factory networks and machine tools/robots. When combined with our non-contact high-speed communication module, this module kit can exchange and convert multilevel Ethernet and binary level NRZ signals. At the mass production stage, this module can be customized for size or communication range, and the exchange and conversion module and the non-contact communication module can be integrated according to user specified product settings.
Auto-negotiation allows automatic switching between 10BASE, 100BASE, and 1000BASE standards, which means this module is ready for communication infrastructure applications with multiple Ethernet-supported devices as a non-contact solution for communication in areas only where it is needed.
Full duplex communication is realized through a unique design minimizing interference between the channels. This non-contact communication module kit is configured so that it is continuously rotatable.
Demonstration starts from October by using a kit product, for lease or paid supply to follow. Q2 period in 2021 is planned for mass production of customized specification products.

Enables conversion and exchange of multi-level Ethernet and binary level NRZ signals
Automatic switching between 10BASE, 100 BASE, and 1000 BASE is possible through the Auto-negotiation function,
ideal in networks having multiple Ethernet devices that use different standards.

EMI interference is reduced due to the adoption of close proximity non-contact communication.
As the configuration reduces channel cross-talk from electromagnetic interference, full duplex communication can be used.
According to the user’s required specification for use, customization is available, such as communication range,
module shape, and rotating mounting options.

According to user request, the non-contact communication module and the conversion module between Ethernet and binary
